Silent Sounds

‘Silent Sounds’ explores the theme of silence, sound and music. This body of work attempts to convey the illusion of sound: intertwining the transient qualities of the aural with the silence and permanence of the material. It is an intriguing and amusing notion as it contradicts the idea of sound as ephemeral, time-based and fluid and reduces the process of listening to a visual idea of what can be heard.
